I joined AR because I found the site simple and quick to use with little advertising and the company here is good. The concept appeals to me and the site appears to offer some help to those who have problems with religion, or who simply have questions religionists can't answer. AtheismUK sees few contributions at the moment and some sites seem so busy that there are many posts to read before contributing. My time for this is limited.
