I liken religions to parasites. Sometimes we need what a parasite has to offer and it helps us in ways that make us adapt them into our lifestyle with this symbiosis both it and us can survive better. But sometimes when we go about our lives we learn about things that do what our parasites or freeloaders do but better and we no longer need them anymore religions.
It can be hard for those who survive off those who provide when they are not needed anymore.but religion has nothing to fear there are still many people convinced they need religion but the future generations have access to the internet and better sciences. Either religion will evolve or it will become a thing of the past. I do believe some religions will survive but the ones unwilling to adapt will perish and I personally think humanity is ready for it and would be better off they all perished. the fact of the matter is religions need us and we no longer need them and they have been nothing but a hindrance for centuries now.
