I was thinking of something along these lines the other day. but this was an interesting way to put it, "the fruits of madness" It is actually quite dangerous the things the for lack of a better word, Mad people put in the bible claiming it to be from God. it no wonder there is so much wrong with the world today with all the years religion has reigned supreme in this world. The books of Judea, Christianity and Muslim belief all give instructions that today's more civilized communities would consider madness. It explains a lot of circumstances we live with today like genocide. mutilation, witch burnings, gay killings, slavery ect.. and no doubt the people of these religions seem to think the actions they propagate and participate in are all parts of divine plan and they are doing some gods work. It would be nice to believe these people without religion would be better people people who would never do such things, but perhaps they are just horrible people using religion to justify what they want to do and would do without religions anyways.
