What We've Done

Atheism is often perceived as a taboo subject, a subject that people refrain from discussing, whether in private or public. Despite the fact that Atheism raises valid questions related to religion and God(s), atheists fear being judged for what they believe in or do not believe in when in conversation with those who position themselves on the other end of the spectrum. In recent years however, atheism has grown more popular and people are curious to learn more about the subject now than ever before.

In keeping with this developing trend, Atheist Republic has been working diligently since 2011 to educate its visitors about Atheism, secularism, humanitarianism and related topics so every person who has a question also believes there is a way to find an answer. In the last three years, Atheist Republic has managed to reach thousands of people across the world and accomplish many of the goals it set out to.

If you follow us regularly, you probably already know what we have done so far. However, for those of you who are new to our website, here is a comprehensive list of everything Atheist Republic has achieved to date:

Blog: Our blog encourages writers from across the world to contribute their experiences and opinions related to Atheism as well as religion.

News: This section is updated with news articles on a daily basis to inform readers about all the mayhem that is carried out in the name of religion in different countries.

Forum: Our forum is a unique place on the internet that not only encourages atheists to interact with each other but also allows space for atheists and believers to engage in conversation and healthy debates.

Gallery: With a large collection of memes that spark debates and interesting graphics that educate people, our gallery keeps growing every day.

Resources: The resource section on Atheist Republic has information pertaining to books, documentaries, movies, and even parenting advice!

Here, we must mention how Atheist Republic is nearing one million fans every passing second, and with your support, we know we would be there in no time. Our private group on Facebook is known to be the most active atheist group online. Join us today and you can start interacting with each one of us!

With a management team of more than 50 members from different countries including Britain, Iran, Philippines, Canada, India, Pakistan, Germany and Ecuador, Atheist Republic urges you to join us in any capacity you deem fit. Upcoming Projects

Atheist Republic was set up in 2011 to not only educate more people about Atheism but also help non-believers feel at par with believers. In this short period, the website has managed to establish how the truth is not necessarily what the majority believes in, and how it has played a crucial role in encouraging people to pose questions that require logical thinking and scientific evidence to be answered.

As reiterated time and again, Atheist Republic has in fact accomplished a lot in the last three years but the journey seems to have only begun. Our growing team is highly aware of the scope and opportunity that lies beyond the website and each member is equally driven to contribute in his or her own capacity to ensure Atheist Republic reaches all the readers, listeners, and viewers it can.

For those of you who crave audio-visual communication, there is plenty to look forward to in the near future. With podcasts and video clips in the pipeline, Atheist Republic hopes to reach out to a much larger fan base than it already has. Our content, which primarily revolves around various concepts of Atheism and religion, will soon be available not only on iTunes but also on our exclusive YouTube channel. Keep an eye out for us!

For those of you who identify with our cause to such an extent that you wish you could interact with other atheists in person and spend some exciting time with them, Atheist Republic hopes to arrange events at Atheist Republic hubs in different locations across the world, with the help of its ever-growing managerial team.

Not to forget, additional features and even more interesting sections will be added to our much popular forums that are already up and functioning. The website also plans to expand and launch versions of its current self in Spanish and Arabic, so we are very welcoming of individuals who believe they will be able to help us do the same. I came to Atheist Republic as a somewhat new atheist with no one to talk to about it. Since then I have acquired some of the best friends that anyone could ask for. We may not all agree on everything but we are supportive of each other. AR can really be a safe haven for somebody who has questions but nobody available to answer them.

glad to have found this site. glad to see that there are black atheists like me. at 63, have been atheist since i was 12. hid it for yrs, but it slowly started to come out, and many evangelinut friends tried to bring me back into the fold. i told them i could not come back, as i was never "in the fold," in the first place. sick of rightwing religious nuts tainting the waters between gov and church. thank gawd more and more young people are becoming nones

I live in the country that was under communist regime at the time I grew up, so I was not pressured to be a part of the Eastern Orthodox Christianity, that was predominant in my culture. After the fall of the communism, many discovered religion, and it became integral part of Serbian identity; but even in these new circumstances, I can freely express my lack of belief, without fear of any consequence. I have a freedom to express myself, but I lacked the friends' understanding. Your vision of Atheist Republic made a leeway for people like me to find each other. There, I found many people whose friendship is of outmost importance to me. People that I think of as a part of my family. Friends with whom I can be myself, without fear of them not understanding, so I no longer feel lonely or lost. I (personally) do not have anything against the person who chooses to believe in a deity, I only have a problem when the person wants to impose their beliefs on the next person. As long as the religious continue to force their beliefs into governmental institutions and all the umbrellas that govern all of us, I will have something to say. As long as children are indoctrinated at a tender age and forced to have their bodies strapped with explosives in the name of some idiots' fucked up beliefs, I will have something to say. As long as the sick, vulnerable and desperate people are ripped off by some lazy fucktards who dress in white suits and call themselves 'pastors' only to be told that they weren't healed because they apparently didn't have 'enough faith', I will most definitely have something to say. I have been living in a country that intoxicate the young with religious fanaticism. It is really hard to break your shell and live outside the cloak of ignorance imposed by the adults. When you say something against their belief, their eyes pierce your body like bullets and their words will strike you down like a sword. I was raised in a very conservative Christian background – Jehovah's Witnesses to be specific. When I was about 17, I joined facebook like any other teenager but with an added twist. I had been doubting the religion of my family for quite some time. Long story short, if it wasn't for Atheist Republic, I would still feel like religion is a life-preserver instead of understanding that it more resembles a noose. I also used to be the same till I started finding reasons and logic behind the teachings. No one in my family or circles know about me being an athiest.
