There I was, sitting in Church, as the collection plate started down the row. If I put a dollar in the plate, I would not have enough for that Grand Slam breakfast I had been craving all week. Before I had time to weigh my options the plate was upon me and I had to act fast. I pretended to drop a fifty in the plate. I told the guy next to me, "That fifty should help out!" I don't know if he believed me or not.. But this morning I woke up with a cold. My nose is running and I am coughing. I thought about calling in to work but felt good enough to dress and go. I am not running a temperature....... yet. I am expecting the worse. I'll just keep my mask on and hope I feel better in 7 to 10 days. Shoulda put that dollar in the collection plate.

I have few happy memories of church.
But, I do have one from when I was about 6 and my sis was about 3. We were sitting in church having a farting contest, and giving new meaning to the word 'pew' . Sis tried a bit too hard and shat herself. Dad was very peeved. There were times that man had no sense of humour.
