Friend of mine went thru some extreme personal issues that few would ever have to deal with. She came out the other side ok but to my dismay has enrolled in a healing course to become some pseudoscience energy healer. The course is expensive and she doesn't have a lot of money. I offended her because I told her it was all horse shit and She should do something useful and become a nurse instead.
She said it is scientific because quantum mechanics and energy and frequencies ....and stuff.
There is an idiot getting lots of international mainstream media attention called Charlie Goldsmith who doesn't even have a methodology to refute like other alternatives eg naturopathy.
he just heals with his mind, no contact, no potions nothing.
I believe this bullshit is gaining more traction as the mainstream media and science are becoming more feminised.
I know lots of hardcore theists that are first class doctors , engineers, surgeons, scientists etc because they compartmentalized their personal beliefs.
The sooner the mainstream media dies and leftist feminist thought gets relegated to the junkyard of bad ideas the better.
