Are these people desesperate? Are we atheists this much threatening?
I seriously doubt they've researched their target audience if this is genuine marketing, rather than an attempt to disrupt.
Yeah! It is their intention. How can we prevent this kind of behavior on this site?
? I don't really mind. Spam is pretty common on the net.
Also, while I wait for a mod to come and clean it up, I get plenty of time to consolidate my thoughts. In that aspect, the spam is actually helpful to me. Lets just pray it's not contradictory to the perpetrator's intention. :P
Doesn't spam come from heaven? I thought when the Jews left Egypt and wandered the desert for forty years, they ate spam from heaven. I'm sure I read that someplace.
Sounds correct to me, I mean you'd literally need to starving in the wilderness to appreciate the taste of spam.
@Sheldon: I mean you'd literally need to starving in the wilderness to appreciate the taste of spam.
Spam (= spiced ham) is a delicious, nutritious, and honest-to-goodness meat product. What you get looks exactly like the picture on the can.
I hate to see the name degraded into a word for mindless, unsolicited trash emails and posts. They would be better labeled with words that reflect that deceptive, mindless, worthless, money-grubbing content. For example, we could call them "communion wafers", "bible verses," or "koran pages".
It must be different to the spam I remember suffering through as child, Granted my mind has tried to extirpate the memory even from my subconscious.
