Its not religions that have ruined everything it's the human race which is at blame as it is the people that are in control of the religions and use them for their own agendas and the people that follow these people and don't question the people in charge of the religions and let themselves to be controlled by these so called unquestionable leaders. Even if there where no religious groups it has been shown that people will fight and rage war of the smallest of differences. Isn't it time the human race united through its similarities rather than separating are selves by our differences
@Ali: Isn't it time the human race united through its similarities rather than separating are selves by our differences
Absolutely.
And since religion is the biggest creator and exploiter of imaginary differences between believers and infidels, let's start by getting rid of religion.
That's just the logical fallacy No True Scotsman.

Ali: "Isn't it time the human race united through its similarities rather than separating are selves by our differences"[?]
Yes and it would help our unity to reject religious faith and other superstitions and adopt critical thinking. Beliefs should be challenged, not held sacred.
The "unity" you claim to want won't make your delusions true or harmless. One-Law-for-All, for example, tends to be undermined when religionists prefer to use their own courts. Children don't have their human rights while their genitals are mutilated for the purposes of religious branding. Unity is fine, but superstitions and affronts to justice, equality and human rights still need to be challenged. There's no advantage in Sunni and Shiite, Hindu and Muslim, or Protestant and Catholic. It is all divisive, superstitious trouble - it's religion. And religiously segregated schools are one way to undermine unity.
Changes will have to happen to all religions and their beliefs and practices. Religious groups shouldn't have any political power in any country but getting rid of all religions will cause more wars. Changes will take time but will hopefully bring peace and that religions accept that we are all human and that all part of the human race no matter what makes us genetically different. Diversity brings strength
@Ali
I agree with your general sentiment about wanting peace, but allowing intolerance does not create tolerance. It is certainly true that forcibly getting rid of religion would not be a constructive move. The answer is of course to follow peaceful means.
@ Sapporo
I'm not saying to allow intolerance I'm Just saying that getting rid of all the intolerances in every religion will take time. Will have to start with the major religions that are most susceptible to state power.
But it's not just intolerance religion reinforces- it's division, separation, tribalism. Each religion has its own god. Each religion thinks it's completely right and the others are completely wrong. Each claims it knows the ultimate truth, that truth came direct from God and unbelievers are immoral or ignorant/inferior. The attitudes are built into religions. Anything that divides us, conquers us, Ali.
"Changes will have to happen to all religions and their beliefs and practices."
The core of religious beliefs are constitutionally incapable of change, I'd have thought that was obvious.
Meanwhile, over the border in India, Hindu "cow vigilantes" are lynching Muslims for killing cows. Christians and lower-caste Hindus are also being attacked.
