AJ777: "..If I’m, wrong, explain why?"
How many times have I heard that from religionists?! As if it were possible! If it can't be grasped that Christianity (or any Abrahamic religion) is just another man-made religion and the Christian god(s) are as much superstition as Valhalla or witchcraft, then there is no explanation that would enlighten. That has certainly been my experience. Mykcob explained himself perfectly well.
The Emperor has no clothes on.
This is the same forum I remember.
Do not feel bad, I visit theist oriented boards, and they do not change eithir.
I usually get banned from those theist boards too, even though I attack no one, nor am I lewd or any other reasonable need to ban someone.
I ask hard questions, post research backing it up, and wham, banned for asking the wrong question.
At any given point in time, 1/3 of all Christians will swear to their God that the other 2/3s are going to burn in hell for following false teachings. When I was an evangelic we had a hard on for the Baptists and the Mormons. I hear over and over again that Catholics are not Christian as they are idol worshipers. I also hear a lot about the evangelic branches following false gods, handling snakes, talking in tongues and participating in activities controlled by Satan. It is simply the nature of the beast. Christianity is an in-group / out-group faith. You are in the group or outside the group/. No middle ground. This is true on the large scale but also true between denominations.

mykcob4,
You hit the nail on the head when you said that a Christian is someone who accepts Jesus as his Lord and Savior. The rest is commentary.
