If man was made good, good would have no meaning.
Good or bad are relative concepts.
Good compared to what?
Travis and Jeff-There you go again--Trying to have a conversation with a moron....Aren't you embarrassed sacrificing your dignity and integrity by trying to communicate with someone who has no brain. Shame on you... Repent and I will forgive your indiscretion and sinful disobedience. God Bless
I suppose you can be made good but get seduced, and hence become bad (or happy, depending on your moral instincts). That's the whole garden of eden thing, I suppose.
I don't really know what the OP means because he hasn't explained it.
definition of "good" from Merriam-Webster Online:
"2a (1) : virtuous, right, commendable (2) : kind, benevolent "
definition of "bad" from Merriam-Webster Online:
"2a : morally objectionable : evil "
My contention is people don't really change. So how does a good person become a bad person? OR do we all start bad?
Read previous post.
Those Merriam-Webster definitions don't mean or help anything lol... Someone who was raised in the hood will most likely have different definitions of what "good" and "bad" are, as opposed to someone that grew up rich and happy their whole life. Nobody on this Earth has the same conception of what "good" and "bad" are. Even people in the same living conditions won't always agree on something like this.
exactly Stu. K.
"virtuous, right, commendable" compared/relative to what?
Is eating always right or can be wrong?
You need to understand how relative those concepts are to make a statement related to those concepts.
To take the most obvious and simplistic explanation.
If humans were created and done right from the beginning we wouldn't be in this mess today.
This only leads to a very incompetent creator.
I think Darkmatter2525 has a nice video, showing just this:

This does lead to a discussion about morality, I suppose. That also changes over time. I've often wondered where the starting point would be for an absolute framework of morality.
