No. Jupiter is responsible for keeping the orbit of Earth stable. The moon's orbit is decaying though, it moves away by about 1cm (on average) every year I think it is.

The orbit's expanding. And for every cm the Moon moves away, our day gets a little bit longer. That means that the day was much shorter back in the dawn of creation. It's funny that the Bible and Koran don't mention that.

Have no idea why anyone follows Islam. The Quaran was not codified until.... what the 1400s. It was not written until the 700s. Muhammad did not write it. All previous copies were destroyed and people who followed them were killed. Ever wonder why all the early Mosques face Petra and not Mecca. Mecca was not the center of anything during the life of Muhammad. Muhammad lived in the North and no place near Mecca. Everything in Islam is a lie.
Seek3R you are moving in the right direction. And that is to find the real truth, not made-up BS. I suggest that for every wild story you hear, check it out. With the internet mankind has never had so much information available on an individual basis.
