Happy Halloween!

My favorite holiday for so many reasons. Enjoy! Eat some chocolate. Tell the wee kids their costumes are adorable! Creepy stuff! Bats! Yes!

You too. I just made 10

You too. I just made 10 pinatas for the kindergarten we have on campus here and all the foreign teachers with kids. They all have a regular rout around the campus where volunteer students and teachers pass out treats. But, Yesterday was October 31. The big Halloween party is on Saturday the 3ed. Loads of fun for everyone.

Have a good Halloween yourself. Cheers!

Not even the slightest flinch

Not even the slightest flinch. I already knew it was coming. Even knew when it was going to happen.

Wow, so many atheists like

Wow, so many atheists like Halloween. I, not so much. Never cared for dress-up and always disliked the mythological aspects.

Now, worst of all, I'm diabetic and therefore the candy and treats are out. Sorry to be a downer, but this was posted on the debate forum, so I say Halloween sucks.

I agree. As a child I loved

I agree. As a child I loved Halloween. Once I grew up, I could care less. I would guess maybe 14 or 15 years old, Halloween was history. By the time I was 16, I was living on mine own just two blocks from where I worked. Also finished and graduated high school out on mine own. When I turned 18, I packed everything, stored at me parents home and joined the Navy.

The only time Halloween ever came back into me life was when me daughters were growing up. But even by the time they were 12, they did not want anything to do with Halloween anymore. I guess, ultimately, Halloween, as me daughters put it, just does not make any sense. Still doesn't.

Sorry to hear it. I wouldn't like it much if I could not enjoy all the festivities either.

Just got photos of the grandchildren in their costumes, my 4 year old granddaughter dressed as a witch and clearly enjoying every minute of it.

I like Halloween as well, but it's mainly for the kids.

And here we go. Me mom asked me to design a pumpkin for her since I used to a pumpkin carver. Here is the picture she took and sent me of the pumpkin I made for her. She said that EVERYBODY said, "Oooo, how gross. But that is wonderful." Basically, every body loved it.

Who doesn't love replacing

Who doesn't love replacing balanced meals with handfuls upon handfuls of candy? But, to quote Spider-Man, I don't feel so good....
