I been openly challenging any god for over a decade to smite me down, or I dunno, something that could maybe possibly be construed as an act of god.
Instead, using my education, good sound reasoning and logic I have much success in life, and the last decade of my life has been the best years of my life so far, and so far everything points to next decade being even better.
That whole eventually thing... perhaps your "god" is busy? I have heard all kinds of horrible things happening to various god fearing folks. Maybe your god is busy screwing up theirs first before he gets around to me?
Can you explain the earthquake in Mexico in 2017, that killed over 370 people? The overwhelming majority were devout Christians.
He wanted them in Heaven right away, of course!

That reversal didn't take long did it.
Fascinating.... I just happened to be in New Orleans helping conduct rescue operations less than two days after Katrina blew through. Oddly enough, the entire French Quarter area seemed remarkably intact with practically no flooding in that area.
Oh, and FIG, Cog isn't the one blaming God for the destruction. It happened to be one of your highly exalted and esteemed faith leaders (Hagee, I believe?) who said your God did it. Do try to keep up. There's a good chap...

Hey, here's something to think about that just recently occurred to me....
Consider that New Orleans as a whole was generally wasted by Katrina, yet the French Quarter area and gay section was relatively left in pretty good shape. Shouldn't that lead one to believe that perhaps God SPARED/SAVED the gays from most of the devastation, as opposed to all the spiteful and sanctimonious religious nuts claiming that God was punishing them? Things that make you go, "Hmmmmm...."
Perhaps it was really Satan that saved him.
