Many people in Denmark identify as cultural christians, but are atheists who don't believe in any kind of a deity.
Looks like weirdness from the ground up to me.
Christian Atheism?
Ain't no such creature. This is the only thing I would say is impossible.

How is it possible to be a Christian and an atheist at the same time?
@Kevinr Re: "How is it possible to be a Christian and an atheist at the same time?"
Pretty simply, really. The same way we can have black albino brown bears. And obviously you have never seen the majesty of a monochrome rainbow. I'm guessing you have also never had the heartwarming experience of visiting a bustling villiage full of solitary reclusive hermits. Have you ever once even considered trying the fulfilling and relaxing hobby of Non-Stamp Collecting? I laugh at how seriously I doubt the insincerity of your non-answers to any of those ridiculously factual statements of speculation. Honestly, I'm totally lying when I say I don't pretend to care about why I am even trying to explain any of this logical nonsense to you.
Oh, man I am at work..acting, and totally confused everyone by suddenly bursting into laughter while my offsider was in the middle of a dramatic monologue....at least the cat, nor liquid was involved.
I once knew a Christian Atheist Butt Head who hunted for Albino Black Bears that were Brown on his Working Holidays. He worked for Military Intelligence which was an Open Secret in my Unbiased Opinion. We were Alone Together during the Great Depression. I remember because all we had to eat were Sweet Tarts. It was a Minor Crisis, Almost Exactly a Tragic Comedy. Lucky for us a plane flew overhead and dropped a bunch of Jumbo Shrimp into the forest before it Crash Landed providing us with shelter. Our Only Choice was to Scream Silently and choke down the Jumbo Shrimp with our Sweet Tarts. The situation was Pretty Ugly. Huddling in our shelter among the Genuine Imitation leather chairs stained with Hot Chili (They must have been serving lunch) I ended up losing my Plastic Glasses, "Good Grief!"
We were eventually rescued by a bunch of from the UN Peace Force in blue hats and Tight Slacks. It was such Sweet Sorrow to see them come to a Rolling Stop in their hummer outside the fallen plane. At first they were Clearly Confused as to how we got there and thought we were members of the Living Dead. Admittedly we looked more like Original Copies of humans than humans themselves. Now when I look back I realize that this event has always been a Constant Variable in my life. Influencing my decisions Now and Then. It may be Old News now but I will always remember the Freezer Burn in my fingers and toes as I hugged the first UN worker and thanked him. If those guys had not been on Advanced Basic training they never would have found us and we would be Be No More today.
I lost count of the oxymorons in that statement lol
Hilarious.
Stupidest thing I've ever heard of.
Oxymoron.
Early one day in the middle of the night, two young seniors came out to fight. Back to back they faced each other, then drew their swords and shot each other. A deaf policeman heard the noise, and rushed to arrest the two dead boys. If you don't belive this story is true, just ask the blind man. He saw it, too.
Can Christians claim to be part of a culture the same way that Jewish people can? Christianity has been historically evangelical (violently so at times) and encompasses too many cultures. The cultures of Europe, Asia, Africa, Polynesia, Micronesia, the Americas have incorporated Christianity on some level. I guess a Christian could say they were culturally Christian if they isolated it to their particular culture. "Southern Baptist African American Cultural Christian" or "Italian American New York Catholic Cultural Christian".
What does it matter? It's just one more Christian group that the real Christian groups can claim are not real Christians. People are allowed to be as irrational and illogical as they want to be. Religion has long proved this to be true.
It would matter if you were a Boston Irish Catholic Cultural Christian trying to celebrate being a Cultural Christian with a South Korean Recently Protestant Cultural Christian. What would you serve for lunch?
Haggis, for a true Scotsman.
