Hope it is acceptable.

I decided to add the Out Campaign "A" which has become synonymous with atheism.
I decided to use the "raised fist" symbol which is used to express unity, strength, defiance, or resistance.
Then, I decided to add the original LGBT flag from when I was growing up back in late 70s. The original flag was designed in 1978.
I hope no one is offended by it, including the site founder.
Enjoy.

I appreciate your efforts, and I know I am an irregular member, so my opinion is kind of "what ever", but I'd just like to wonder why every issue needs to encompass feminism (the fist) and LGBTetc. issues (the flag). I support the equal opportunity of women and all of the LGB issues (that I know of), but remain puzzled by portions of the T and Q issues, but throwing all those issues into atheism, I think is unnecessary. Can't we just be atheists and have solidarity on that?
And we all know what happened the last time an online atheist community tried to be more than just atheists (Atheism+)... they kicked out anyone who refused to toe their line and agree with literally everything they say, accusing them of having the same ugly attitudes as the likes of Thunderf00t, TheAmazingAtheist, their respective fanbases, etc. (guilt by association...)
Thunderf00t and TAA fans, please don’t shoot me...
Take the RED PILL - Most women's issues are a myth.

I'm not even saying that. Just that why does every issue have to be made to relate to each other in some way. There are plenty of organisations that advocate for women's issues and LGBTetc. issues. Hell, there are whole academic fields that advocate for them. How many atheist studies programs are there in the world again? Why should these issues be made to encompass other dimensions of life too, like atheism, video games journalism, jobs hiring etc. etc.? And yes, I know Foucault & normalising power. But like I said I'd most likely agree with most of the things most mainstream feminists and LGBTetc. activists want to accomplish, but why should that be incorporated into promoting issues related to atheism, I can't understand. If a person wants to participate in such issues, then take part in organisations that deal with those issues. If these other identity issues are brought into issues related to atheism too, we'll be bickering about why most main stream influential atheists happen to be men, and how that is all tied to eurocentric white supremacy and the cisheteronormative patriarchy, and probably somehow to constraining images of the nuclear family, and the dominating nature of "white science" and "white forms of knowing" or what ever. I mean, I hear that all that all the time everywhere, and I'm just so utterly bored about that discussion. And yes, I am literally the devil. A middle-classed European white passing cis- & heterosexual normal- & able bodied male from a middle-classed background, so take this salt with an image of white fragility in your mind. Can't we just not believe in gods, and that be our connecting identity homunculus? Pretty please, with stevia* on top.
*Got to think of folks with diabetes.
Oh, yeah. I’m all for feminism and LGBTQ+ rights, but everyone remember Atheism Plus?
And besides, doesn’t Atheist Republic already focus a lot on LGBT and womens’ issues? Look at our memes and news articles!
And I’m the devil in the eyes of conservatives: I’m an atheist, a person of color, a profeminist, a pro-choicer, and I am pro-LGBT+, pro-gun control, pro-healthcare, and anti-Trump!
At the same time, however, I am also quite a few things the centrist-left hates: I believe in SJWs (but not in the same context as most people online use the term), and I’m not a terribly big fan of Hillary Clinton (how DARE I? SO PROBLEMATIC!!!)
I couldn't open the link. Not sure why. Computer is a bit wonky tonight for some reason.
As others have said, the focus here should be on atheism. Discussions are likely to spill over into other areas because of the impact of religion on things like politics, human rights, and so on. But I'd be uncomfortable in an atheist community that also adopted a particular position on the political spectrum and defined views on other issues. I like to think that we can agree or disagree on various issues while still sharing our common experience as atheists.
There is nothing wrong with creating a personal atheist republic symbol. Arakish is not the owner of this site, he knows it not going to actually replace anything. I think it is quite good, and he can put his own personal taste and spin on it. It not like its a new flag we now all have to salute to. He just designed his own symbol, and I think it is pretty good.

Hate your poster. Sorry! Reminiscent of Black Panthers, Gay Pride, and probably a bunch of other stuff as well. But don't take offences, The AR symbol sucks big time as well. An Logo should be simple and easy to recognize. The double arches for MacDonalds, the little Slash for Nike, One solid color - man on a horse with a polo stick. one solid color crocodile, GM, A bite out of an apple that is one solid color, or sports teams with simple logos on shirts and helmets are all examples of really good logos. IMO the trick to coming up with a great Logo would be to say all that you want to say with a single stroke of the pen. Take every idea you want to convey in that image you created and say the same thing with as few strokes of the pen as you possibly can. Just my opinion. Just one monkey's opinion.
