Without "The Law of Moses" would we all be wandering around like little gods, stealing, raping, and spilling blood whenever our vanity was offended?

I Honestly don't know where we would be in terms of society without the law of Moses perhaps we would be more like people in Asian countries or more like the Native Americans were without the law of Moses. Seems like without the god of Moses they all found their own gods. The Nordic people I descended from did fine without any concept of the christian or Jewish god, but then they did pillage and they did spill lots of blood and some were believed to be gods as well as believed themselves to be descended form gods so i guess it's possible. And lets not for get the Aztecs but I think the world would sort things out. Without the law of Moses would Christopher Columbus have so compelled to discover a way to India by going west? The world surely would be different, that's for sure. But as far as Dan Barkers question goes, I guess not all of us would.
However, that is not his point his point is, the god of Moses did all these things.
