British MP Assassinated, Murder Declared Act of Terrorism

According to Haydon, the Metropolitan police's early investigation revealed "a potential motivation linked to Islamist extremism."

Four Muslims were killed on Wednesday after the police opened fire on the crowd.

Iranian Woman Burned to Death by Father for Having a Lover

Dr. Iman Navvabi shared a photo of a patient with severe burns on his Instagram around October 4. The victim was 22-year old Faezeh Maleki, who suffered third-degree burns on 85% of her body. She died of her injuries on the morning of Sunday,October 3rd.

Kurdistan Human Rights Network, an independent, non-profit, and nonpartisan organization in France, spoke with one of the witnesses. Faezeh Maleki’s father poured gasoline on her and lit her on fire, explained the witness.

Uyghur Muslim Businessman Confirmed Dead in Chinese Prison

Local officials in China’s Xinjiang province announced that a prominent Uyghur real estate businessman and philanthropist, Yaqub Haji, died in prison. Investigating the social media of Haji’s families and friends, Radio Free Asia (RFA) reported that his body was handed over to his family on September 6, 2021. There is no available information as to when and how Haji died.

Taliban Official Announces Executions & Cutting of Hands Will Return

Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, one of the founders of the Taliban, announced that harsh punishments, including executions, will be implemented again. During an interview with the Associated Press (AP) on September 22, Turabi announced that the Taliban would once again carry out executions and amputations of hands. Not in public, of course, because they’ve “changed” as they like to say.

Academic Conference about Hindu-Nationalism Harassed by Hindutva

Christian is to Christian fundamentalism, Islam is to Islamic fundamentalism, as Hindu is to Hindutva. In a feature article published by the Association for Asian Studies, Arvind Sharma called Hindutva "Hinduism on steroids," while also explaining that Hinduism is a religion while Hindutva is a political idea. Hindutva was first posited from the work of V.D. Savarkar and has been adopted by far-right political groups in India like the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
