This is true religion justifies genecide, slavery, rape, forced marriage, beating your wife, sodomizing children and much more. Many religious people would kill their own children if they were convinced God wanted them to. Morality based on theology is easy to manipulate and is as baseless as the belief systems that support it. The text people of Christian Jewish and Muslim faith follow and consider sacred are filled with horrible justifications and direct instructions to do the most morally corrupt things. The old testament even instructs the Israelite people to commit Genocide under Moses's command under the so called direction of God long before we had a word for it.
