Guilt is one of the hardest things to live with, its a feeling that does not go away once felt you understand truly what it is to forgive yourself, nearly impossible! Forgiveness is not something that can come from god for God does not exist in the realm of your sorrow. Guilt can be a relief to expose, forgiveness is something that can come from others but is truly in the end when you feel guilt something only you can forgive yourself of something you feel guilty of. Relying on a god to forgive you is an empty cause. Until you are forgiven by that which you wrong, it is next to if not impossible to forgive yourself.
