Frankly I am disappointed. I was expecting more.
All I have learned here is Senta enjoys her sex life, which is good for her and really doesn't surprise me. She has been so incredibly lucky to have found, amongst the 5 billion humans on this planet the one guy who is her soul mate. Why wouldn't she enjoy it?
No problems there. What were the odds of them meeting? Damned lucky. Lives locally does he?

But she asks why, why we can have such amazing orgasms, and the exhilarating experience of sharing that with a caring lover. But, as she told me, she did not want to know about the god bit.

I was working all day. My first post was made about morning tea and I did not get a chance to reply until now. I wanted to suggest things like hormone activity during sex, oxcytocin effects, pheromones, the whole body chemistry thing under orgasm etc etc but then I realised it would have made no difference. That was still just the how, not the why.

Then after a protracted tease, she explains her own personal made up deist belief about an ill-defined-ball-of-energy-type-god or mysterious higher intelligence, take your pick, creating us with the means of enjoying sex and sexual relations, for no reason given nor understood. How lucky is that?? And as I suspected, evolution and possibly human biochemistry, don't cut it. Science and knowledge is not lovemaking.

I don't doubt Senta enjoys her 'love making experiences" with her "soulmate", as much as I enjoy my profound and deep relationship with my partner, but I rather think Senta's such a nice person and really enjoys herself and her lucky life so much she really wants to thank someone or thing for it. So? Create a god or higher intelligence and give them all the credit. Easier that reading several books to get a broader understanding of human evolution and biochemistry I suppose. Boring, especially after sex.

It has been suggested that the earliest worshipped god was the sun, a ball of energy. Co-incidence?. But worshipping the sun fell out of favour because its hard to have a personally satisfying spiritual relationship with a ball of energy. Deism is the religion you adopt when you don't like dogma or rituals to bog things down and make life tedious. Like a hit and run lover, a one night creation god who never returns your future calls, nor is expected to. Some sexual encounters are like that and not very satisfying either.

The sad thing Senta is that you were born about 50 years too late. In the sixties everyone used to talk like you do now, you'd have had a ball then too...

Many years ago, when I was young and beautiful, I tried to enhance my "making love experience" by following Deepak Chopra's instructions on how to reach my chakras that he claimed would do exactly that.

I must have misread his instructions because I ended up with my finger up my ass.

You obviously believe in some imaginary god that created everything, your statement proves it.
