When religion mixes with politics we get unreasonable abortion laws, bans on stem cell research, ignorant assholes claiming America is a Christian nation, "In God We Trust" on our money, prayer in the opening ceremonies of government ceremonies, swearing on the bible and a whole lot more "Horseshit."
When religion and politics mix you get Fascism....Constantine invented the technique and others have improved it.
Mobilise the believers, bend the dogma of the religion you favor (as Hitler did in the 1930's)divide, isolate, and eventually liquidate the opposition...and you have the perfect storm of a religious dictatorship. It happened in Iran, it will happen once more in Afghanistan, it happened in Chechnya and the list goes on....even in jolly old Engerland it happened under the jolly Tudor Rascal Henry 8th...nobody talks about what happened to the dispossessed during his reforms.......
Religion is a slow poison, mix it with the vitriol and dishonesty of politics and it becomes a potent and explosive mix which causes death and mayhem.
Jo along with Royism, on these pages, are exactly the kind of religious who would justify the most heinous crimes of a religious leadership. Apologetics knows no conscience.
