From reading words backward proves god to a water church there are some pretty wacky claims being made. I don't know if the Republic decided to pay some people to come up with some strange stuff to spice up the forum or if these screwballs are real.
what is the stupidest thing you have read lately?

"Water and religion" by Modais. That's by far the stupidest thread I've read in a long time. Modais has really distinguished himself against some really strong competition in the stupidity rankings.
Anything from (t) number 1
"I will pray for you, I love you Mykcob" is at number 2
Any post from "hottie" so far makes a close call for Number 3.
@ All
Ok I am moving 'Water Church' to number 3 purely because of the fundamental, monumental claim that only water had three states....it almost vied with with PGJ for sheer absurdity and comic relief but...nah in my book merits number 3 in the stupid staes, #2 in the laughter prize.. That one piece of science that shattered the precarious house of wrong assumptions LOL. And all the woo just flowed out the door LMFAO.
PGJ posts were quite 'special', in particular regarding his 'non beliefism' invention.
@BTW
Oh come on BTW they were the most hilarious exchanges I have seen here! Priceless. I am still sitting here giggling at the whole amazing godknowshowmany pages of utter hoo ha, rubbish, balderdash, gibberish, claptrap, blarney, guff, blather, blether; hogwash, rot, baloney, tripe, drivel, gobbledegook, bilge, bosh, bull, bunk, hot air, eyewash, piffle, poppycock, phooey, hooey, malarkey, twaddle, dribble; cobblers, codswallop, cock, tosh, double Dutch, flannel, waffle, garbage, flapdoodle, blathers, wack, bushwa, applesauce; bunkum, tommyrot, cod, gammon, slangshit, bullshit, crap, bollocks, balls, crapola; bulldust.
*wipes tear from trouser leg" Oh my I needed that...They were just too funny to be stupid...and Sheldon *breaks into giggles again* Sheldon *ends up on floor holding sides* never mind...later...later...
Haha, point well made!
Perhaps for me it was annoying on a personal level because I wasted time actually reading each of his 'hypothesis' and the papers he cited as well.
That and the constant misquoting and misrepresenting of peoples opinions, especially that of Sheldon and myself.
But I did love the quips in regards to finding the phd in a cereal box, There are some very funny members on here.
The belief programminggodjordan had that he held no beliefs, and his accompanying spiel that he called
"non-beliefism" must be in the top 3.
@ Sheldon
Don't you start me off again...I rushed to my 'puter every evening to see your 'discourse' with pantsdown funnybrain. Oh shit...back later..sheldon you bastar......
The water church. Haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Thanks to all the contributors.
Every thread where theists claims god is real and they have proof is stupid thread; but if you'll ask me about the particular one then it will be (t)ruthinPlainSight's
'God Says He Has Made Himself Obvious(PROOF HE HAS)'
So do i win an award or something ? Also i have a few other ideas but i will save them for another time .
@ Modias
Yes you win the Golden "Woo" award
(You just missed the Golden Woo Woo Award)

The best "Supporting Idiocy Award"
And the big one *drum roll*

Yay Modias!
You win an all expenses paid night out with *crowd gasps* PROGRAMMING GOD JORDAN!! * crowd goes wild,several killed in rush for exits.*
By golly, Modias, you got MY vote. And I am definitely looking forward to seeing your other ideas. Meanwhile, get your acceptance speech in order, and take a walk down the Red Carpet. Oh, and don't forget the snacks, dude. I'll even bring some extra popcorn to share with you.
@Modias
Oh, and if I were you, I would trade that night out with PGJ for an evening in front of the tube watching "Heavy Metal" and marathon run of B List horror movies. Certainly more entertaining, and quite possibly more educational. See you at the awards ceremony!
I gotta go with "Water and Religion." The argument was so moronic and disjointed I couldn't even comment. After reading the post I just shook my head and told myself, "Why bother?"
Way too difficult a choice! Maybe we should ask when someone last saw a Christian visitor on this forum who had a basic understanding of the subject, a sound grasp of good reasoning principles, and a willingness to follow through on the tough questions without totally changing the subject, diverting the discussion into meaningless side alleys, disappearing, or becoming progressively incoherent? Computing... Computing... Uhmm. I get the feeling that way back when I may have... Gee! I'm going to need more time to think about this!
