That which is real/fact is that which conforms with reality. If your statement that belief and fact are one and the same, then how do you form an objective view of reality? Second, are you certain that belief is no different from fact? If so, how do you know that your position is accurate (consistent with reality) as opposed to a flawed belief? Your statement itself makes a truth claim, but if there is no objective truth, then how do you know your statement is correct?
Apollo is bonkers clearly. If belief and fact are the same why do we lock people who are suffering from delusional beliefs? One assumes he thinks psychiatry is complete flimflam.
