@PocholoGray: Everyone wants to go to heaven, no one wants to die and some religions round off fraud forbidding suicide, for example, if you are a Christian and commit suicide you go to hell.

If you are poor it's a blessing, if you break your spine to be able to eat every day is a blessing, if you suffer a disease is because something you have done to deserve it and no public sanitation, surrender it with resignation. If you have money give it to the poor... wait, but through the church, the mosque, the synagogue... and blessed be, god go with you, Allahu Akbar, Baruch Hashem.

I would think that no matter how strong your faith is, its kind of hard to disregard 6 million years of evolution hard-wiring every fiber of your being with a will to survive. It's quite a quandry ain't it? I've often asked that same thing. I want to say that people have an innate understanding that it's all bullshit. Subconsciously at least. I mean the Idea of Heaven to them sounds amazing right? It's what they prepare their ENTIRE lives here on Earth for. You get eternal life, for the price of a mere Earth death! All the preparation, yet when the time comes.. there's that unmistakable fear. Like Montero said, you can't do it yourself. So when there's an accident or someone else does, why all the fear? I think it's because there is more logic in the ID/ in the subconscious than we give credit for. Again, like Montero said - That's so Sad.
