Theist Argument.

http://humansarefree.com/2013/12/9-scienctific-facts-prove-theory-of.html

Is this a valid theist argument?

I was debating and then this link came up.

Another point came across that "how come atheist feel supernatural things when placed in a creepy environment."?

How would I explain this to the theist?

Thanks

Well, atheism is a lack of belief in god(s)...not necessarily ghosts.

the data from the link is

the data from the link is based on a false premise. it ignores the advances and discoveries that have come in evolution theory study. namely dna research. instead it argues against the first or onset of evolution theory. a common practice by theist and pseudo-scientist.

Hunter Grissom.....

Hunter Grissom.....

Just a suggestion...... you might want to do a little research into the "Humans are Free" website.....

I can recommend the Home page...where it details articles on everything from "the Illuminatii" through the discovery of a "huge pyramid in Antarctica" right to "Legal Herbs for Dream Recollection ,Flying & Spirit Communication" including a "Detailed Description of Atlantis"....

Then ,if you feel the need, check out their "Forum ?" Believers Only .....

(The goal of 'Believers Only' is to have a wonderful learning experience together, undisturbed by the so called 'debunkers', non-believers or undercover disinformation agents.)

Personally, I don't. I offered to stay overnight in a place thought "haunted" once but my offer wasn't taken up.

The article opens with a very

The article opens with a very ignorant claim :

"The Theory of Evolution will never become a law of science because it is wrought with errors. This is why it is still called a theory, instead of a law."

This statement is typical of those that do not understand the basic concepts of science .

A scientific law describes what nature does under certain conditions, and will predict what will happen as long as those conditions are met. A theory explains how nature works.

The only time I feel afraid in a creepy environment is when there are creepy people around.

To be clear: that is not a

To be clear: that is not a theist's argument. "Theism" is another abstract categorical label that lumps together people who believe in a deity. Not all such believe in ghosts.

That article is just absurd.

That article is just absurd. whoever wrote that shit has no idea what evolution is. Infact that moron does not even know why skin colour varies and what melanin is and its function.

"Is this a valid theist argument?"

No, basically everything he claims is bullshit.
eg:

"The Theory of Evolution will never become a law"
A theory deals with the WHY, gives an explanation.
A law deals with the HOW usually mathematically.

A theory can never become a law.

After this display of ignorance one should just ignore the rest.

@ Hunter Grissom : There is

@ Hunter Grissom : There is this video on youtube by Darren Brown where he makes an atheist experience a religious feeling. He does this by psychological tricks and hypnosis and he explains it as he does it. Its really a great watch.

First of all the adjective

First of all the adjective "creepy" really gives no indication of what you are talking about. Any time your senses are diminished you will experience heightened detail in others. This means that if you are placed in a dark situation where your eyes are no longer of any use you will listen more intently and hear sounds that you didn't even know were there. This causes a heightened awareness of anything that you failed to detect in the first place. You can attribute this to a "supernatural" experience but it is nothing more than a unique sensation or awareness of common occurrences.
