Klamatha,
"The question I ask is when dose a straying belife become a new religion when should it be classified as its own"
How about when people build their first building to house their new belief and start wearing special clothes to set themselves apart from the other nitwits?

A dose of what?
Straying belife? Is that like a straying spouse.
Need more input.

John Oliver started his own Church.

Anyone can "OFFICIALLY" start a church and anyone can become a minister for about $50. It really is just that easy.
Hmm. Church of the OverLord. Has a nice ring to it. I would have to sacrifice my bi-monthly Bourbon fund, however. I’ll pass.
@Rat Spit Re: Church of the OverLord
You're right! I do like the sound of that. Why would you have to give up the bourbon fund, though??? Seems to me you would have a chance to multiply that fund if you play your cards right. On top of that, it would be TAX FREE! Especially if you make the bourbon part of the ceremonial procedures. Dude, it would be a win-win situation!
They call those "cults" my dear.
Although all religions are cults in my POV.
