A schizophrenic has the ability to disqualify 4 areas of communication at the same time. The self, the message, the person receiving the message and the time and place of the message. (Jay Haley, Batson, Communication theory.) This allows them to avoid establishing responsibility for relationships.
It occurs to me, "You are a sinner because the bible says so, not me" is schizophrenic communication. "I didn't kill the woman, God made me do it, is schizophrenic." You watch the person steal something out of the collection plate and they say, "That really wasn't me or Satan made me do it." In a conversation with a Christian they begin praying, "Please lord give this man the wisdom to see the truth." (I was not talking to you I was talking to God.)
What are some ways Schizo Christians talk to you and disqualify what they are saying? It seems they do this a lot. Do you have any situations?

“I don’t hate the sinner, I hate the sin.”
"I was moved by the Holy Ghost."
EWWWW --- "Talking in tongues" Moved by the spirit of the lord. It's not me it's the spirit in me.
"Thank you Jesus" after winning a football game. (Both teams were praying but Jesus let us win.)
Re: "Thank you Jesus" after winning a football game. (Both teams were praying but Jesus let us win.)
Which always made me wonder.... Do you think maybe God really hates most all sports? I mean, the poor guy really doesn't get a chance to enjoy them, if you think about it. Almost all year he is constantly having to field prayers from thousands of different teams all at once asking him to let them win. I imagine that really does get annoying. I can just picture him up there with a coin going, "Aw, fucking HELL, already!".... *tossing coin in the air*.... *catching coin and placing it on back of wrist*... *lifting hand to see results*.... "Heads!... Okay, the Broncos win today. Now I just have to do this a few thousand more times before I can settle in to watch the damn game!".... *coin flip*.... *check*..... *coin flip*.... *check*.... *coin flip*.... *check*...
You think maybe during playoff season or maybe during high school football season or other such busier times that God calls Satan up to help him out? And they sit around with a few beers taking turns flipping coins?
Cognostic OP: "What are some ways Schizo Christians talk to you and disqualify what they are saying? It seems they do this a lot. Do you have any situations?"
For me when I was a child and asked very legitimate questions that they could not, the Schizo Christians just beat the shit of me. Then later, me mom would beat the shit of me. Thus, the only lesson I learned is that every Sunday is "whoop-ass" day.
Does that qualify as "schizophrenic"?

Possibly: If they were beating the "evil" out of you, it certainly does. "We are not actually hitting you, we are just beating the evil spirits from your body.
@Arakish....Possibly...they weren't beating the shit out of you...they were beating the shit out of the Devil inside you...and God was doing the beating, not them.
@Grinseed Re: "they weren't beating the shit out of you...they were beating the shit out of the Devil inside you...and God was doing the beating, not them."
Bingo! Hell, not only does that cover the schizo part, but we may even be looking at a case of "Projected Schizo." Wow! Any studies ever been done on THAT?
And they were not actually beating you. God made them beat you. "Spare the rod, spoil the child." They had no real choice in the matter.
Ted Haggard preached evangelical Christianity and worked actively against LGBT rights while using crystal meth and cavorting with male prostitutes. Thanks to his Christian morality he was able to rationalize his hypocrisy and forgive himself, and he's back in the pulpit again.
Jim and Tammy Bakker funded their lavish lifestyle on church donations, some of which was used to pay hush money to a rape victim. Jim's now out of jail and back on TV preaching to survivalist nutcases.
If I'd done any of the stuff that these crackpots have done, I'd be consumed by shame. I'd crawl under a rock and die. But there's something in the Xtian mindset that lets them detach themselves from their own actions. The illusion that Jesus will forgive you ought to be classified as a dangerous pathological mental disorder.
Algebe: "The illusion that Jesus will forgive you ought to be classified as a dangerous pathological mental disorder."
I do. Combined with the belittlement of the Original Sin concept of born evil/sinful instilling the Inferiority Complex Disorder; then when saved and going to heaven while unbelievers go to hell instills the Narcisstic Personality Disorder; then the Jesus will/can forgive ANY sin instilling the Schizophrenic Delusion Disorder; roll all these up into one disorder known as RSTD (Religious Stigmatic Traumatized Disorder).
And sometimes, this also might include the Dissociative Identity Disorder:
Just watch these videos. What I will say, "What kind of moron does it take to act like they are suffering from epilepsy?"

@ arakish:
The behavior in those videos would embarrass a tribe of chimpanzees. I'm speechless. Gobsmacked.
When I watched the Benny Hinn video I suddenly realized what ACDC's "Big Gun" is about.
Riot on the radio
Pictures on the TV
Invader man take what he can
Shootout on the silver screen
Sticking 'em up and knocking 'em down
Living out a fantasy
There's a bad man cruisin' around
In a big black limousine

There's a boy I watched in the daycare of my Christian high school. One day he took a shotgun and shot his mother and young sister in the back. His dad came home, found the dead family, and called 911. During the call, he was shot multiple times and died on arrival to the hospital. The kid went to juvenile (he was only 14) and was released by law at 19. At the time of the shooting, when the pastor of my school was asked about why the kid killed his family, he replied, "Why should it happen to this family, so closely identified with this church? I don't know why. I have a suspicion. I suspect that the dirty Devil is about his dirty, dirty work." So no personal responsibility; it was the Devil's fault.
The killer changed his name, went on to marry, have kids, and attend church regularly. The Christians cite him as a case of redemption--see how God has worked in his life! He's been forgiven and restored!
There's no amount of Jesus that can fix whatever flaw there is in a person that causes him to murder his entire family.
