Monty Python's Terry Jones diagnosed with dementia

I'm sad to share the news that Terry Jones, aka Mrs. Cohen and Simon the Holy Man from "Life of Brian", has been diagnosed with dementia. "Life of Brian" was one of the best religious satires ever.
After Money Python, Terry Jones wrote a number of books and also appeared in several series of history documentaries. My favorite was the one about the Crusades, in which he describes how the lives of the Christian people of Constantinople were disrupted when they were invaded by cannibals from France.
It's deeply tragic that such a brilliant mind and comedic talent should be affected by this cruel condition.

PBS first aired the Flying Circus weekly when I was in high school. Could hardly wait for the opening sequence with Terry Jones naked at the piano. It's.....
Very sad news, indeed.
Yes, sad news.
Unfortunately, even such gods of comedy are mortal and will have to wither away.
"He's not a god of comedy......he's a very naughty boy"....
C'mon ...... someone had to say it.....
Apart from his talent he is/was a first rate historian..... and Algebe is right...his series/book about the crusades is brilliant....(I still have the book...)
(Side note...I watched my father die of altziemers / dementia......its a shit way to go.....he just gradually "disappeared" one memory / function at a time...)
".he's a very naughty boy"
And most importantly, is he a virgin? (If that's not a personal question)
