There was also a study done at the Univ. of Oregon by Azim Sharif that showed much the same thing. This was a "longitudinal" study, done over a lengthy period of time. (40 years)That study also showed that children raised in secular homes had high ethical standards, had exceptional family solidarity, and used more reasoning to solve problems. They were also more skeptical and asked more questions, and were more independent. In short, kids raised in secular households were all around better equipped to live meaningful lives that were kids raised in religious households.
