Hello how are you.
Skeptic from Morocco with you, I was born in muslim family and considered my self a muslim; until recently .
I bagan to see the absurdity of many religious claims and rules , the only thing that bugs me is the supposed "scientific miracles" in the quran , I have taken the position that they are all some post hoc explanations that use the ambiguity of the quran to proclaim the divinity of it , until I came to one verse which says that semen comes from the backbone , which is obviously wrong until I read the explanation which asserts that the quran was referring to the fœtal stage during which the testes are located in the position mentioned in the quranic tet .. take a look http://www.thedeenshow.com/scientific-quran-miracles-backbone-and-ribs/ and tell me what do you think ?

This is a known error from the Quran. I can point out to you a billion more scientific errors from this so called 'Word of God'
Semen has nothing to do with backbone and neither are there any glands near the backbone which produce it.
That website is stupid because sperm is not produced in the fetal stage. The testes start DEVELOPMENT in fetal stage but if someone is going to tell me that Quran was referring to the production of sperm in the fetal stage when the baby hasn't even formed completely then I'm going to enjoy a healthy laugh.
I recommend you to read what others have to say about this: https://www.answering-islam.org/Quran/Science/semenproduction.htm
As seeker has eluded; it is a bait and switch:
Testes are not semen; nice try.

What I find depressing is how far you are willing to go to try to justify mythology.
There is a reason the quran is often wrong for the same reasons the ancient Greeks were wrong.
Answering Islam.org is a Christian website, so using it as a source in Atheist Republic is completely and utterly unacceptable. Consider yourself excommunicated from the Republic.
Excuse me my friend, don't try to act act like a jackass, okay? My main intent of using any website is to provide the author of the thread more clarification. I don't give a fuck if I have to cite a Christian, Jew or a Hindu website AS LONG AS THE ARGUMENT PRESENTED IS AUTHENTIC AND IS COMMON WITH THE OTHER NEUTRAL EVIDENCE because at the same time, I can debunk every Christian, Jew and Hindu claim.
Please avoid passing moderation decisions on other users because it just makes you look like something which I'd rather not state as it'd be derogatory.
Seek3R, it was a joke/satire. Sorry if that was lost in translation.
