Hello everyone,
I had a little thought and I wondered on what others thought about it,
Deuteronomy 23:2
“No one born of a forbidden union may enter the assembly of the Lord. Even to the tenth generation, none of his descendants may enter the assembly of the Lord.
So, Wasn't Jesus technically born out of wedlock?

Worse than that! Miscegenation!
One of Yeshua's ancestors was Ruth, the Moabite. But that was over ten generations.
Nowhere in the collection of stories known as the bible does it categorise the rape of a minor female by a God avatar as a forbidden union.
You're right, old man. I stand corrected. It could only be wrong if there was a Mrs God. Do you think God paid Mary's dad the going rate for rape and married her, as the Law demanded? Oh...hang on...we know he didn’t. He cuckolded Joseph with a cuckoo in the nest.
Hahha, actually excavations of Israelite settlements show clear evidence of hearth shrines to a "Mrs God" named Ashera who was widely acknowledged and venerated by the followers of "El or (YHWH)" right up until the later kingdoms. University of Tel Aviv archeology dept have a series of papers on it as well as other fascinating stuff. Asherah functioned as a goddess and consort of Yahweh and was worshipped as the Queen of Heaven.
Mary merely took over the mantle.
The more we learn the less we believe the bullshit LOL.
@Old man
And the mantle never sat well with the people, especially the women people. Denying half the human race rarely ends well. Takes a LOT of oppression to keep that shit in line.
