From the article: "And perhaps others, during the time from roughly 1706 B.C. when the Israelites entered Egypt"
VS
Wikipedia - The archaeological data do not accord with what could be expected from the Bible's exodus story: there is no evidence that the Israelites ever lived in Ancient Egypt...I'll give you the same advise I gave in the other thread: stop reading trash!

"Does this article really prove genesis?"
As far as I can see, it only suggests that one of the tribes of Israel had African ancestry. So what? Other research, like the Genographic project, has shown conclusively that we all have African ancestry dating back about 80K years. The authors of this article seem happy and surprised that a little bit of the Bible is actually confirmed by science.
Here's a page from the same site where you can donate to help these people build a museum in Dallas to teach children about creationism, including humans and dinosaurs living together.

You'll be able to "experience evidence for the worldwide Genesis Flood in an immersive Ark exhibit." I thought it was the people outside of the Ark who were immersed.
Provide a peer reviewed article and we might take it seriously. The creation institute is NOT scholarly.
@Pork222
I guess that is supposed to prove that Noah's ark sailed the seas and that a snake once talked. He has a funny sense of proof! Need a rational mind look further?
I am biased. If an organization has "Creation" in the name I automatically think it is bullshit.
I have a few simple rules I live by . One of those rules is "Get science information from scientists". Not politicians, preachers or sportscasters. If my automobile transmission breaks down I don't take my car to the fry cook at McD's to fix it. Scientific facts are not simply a matter of opinion. If you want to learn about evolution stop reading I.D.iot literature. You are wasting your time. Carl Sagan will better serve your need for knowledge.
