I would say this pastor is sort of correct, but not for reasons he assumes. The church's anti-homosexual indoctrination, forces people (like this pastor,) to repress their true sexual desires, and with all this frustrated sexual energy it leads to more sexual assaults at school for confused sexual represed people like this pastor.

Okay, okay, that may not be the whole picture, but it is certainly a whole lot more true then homo-sexual acceptance in culture causing sexual assaults in schools, that this idiotic pastor claims.

So, should it follow that open acceptance of homosexuality would resolve anything?

The world needs to understand that the desire to have, or perform an act of sex is a disease in some people. They live for it like foodies, druggies, gamers, drunks, pornographers and all manner of vice-driven behavior, and the acute need to perform a sexual act in deference to the law needs to be added to it. Being unlawful makes it a crime but what is out there making it a legal disease? Sexual preference has nothing to do with any desire to commit an act of sexual assault.

Because a sexual act is a normal biological condition in mankind it can be dismissed as such regardless of the circumstances. History gives us much to show that it has across many cultures. In the middle east to this day young boys are toys. It's a normal lifestyle and the various tribes in diaspora often engage in skirmishes over the pick of the localities. The American movie industry depicts the practice of Arabian harems with women when in fact it was with boys.

The cathaholic church was no different going back in time. Every culture dating back to biblical times and into antiquity abused boys.

Understand that this ancient and current practice is not considered homosexual by those practicing cultures. Men of stringent heterosexual preferences boffed little boys routinely while maintaining devoted behavior with their wives. I won't pretend I can explain that one but believe it that little boys have been the sexual instruments of pleasure in those societies.

Fast forward and we are supposed to be aghast that clergymen are boffing little boys? The answer is yes but we first need to reject the notion that it's acceptable for any culture to take pleasure in that. We need to hold accountable the past as irrevocably condemnable behavior, bring it forward to the current day and then resolve it as a disease. Hell, there's more a-buzz these days about the hurt caused by body shaming than there is about boffing little boys. Twisted? Yeppers.
