I've met Bill English a few times. He's not terribly bright.

However, Jacinda Arden has cobbled together a coalition by getting into bed with an unprincipled, populist, anti-immigration demogogue who's only real policy is to grab power and glory for himself. He's entered into coalitions with both left-wing and right-wing governments. It remains to be seen how long the new government will last, and how much damage it will do to the New Zealand economy before it collapses into chaos.

But good on Jacinda for refusing to swear on the Bible. It's a pity we can't get rid of the Queen as well, but that will be a much bigger battle.
