Hello you may know now that i really like "what if questions". So i was looking at differents systems of beliefs, mythologies and philosophies, since it is a important part, even today, of the human experience.
So if religion you want, religion you will have. I try to imagine a system of belief that would be the most begnin one can have while having the capacity to compete with other religion, because it woul cease to be and that's not fun.
I was looking at annihilationism which states that you will cease to exist if you are not in the Good Lord's graces upon judjment day.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Annihilationism
But...but, one of the first articles you got from google is a rebuttal of this by a certain Mr J.I Packer, who is an evangelical theologian, you may want to know more about him:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._I._Packer
This is the page in question:
https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/j-i-packer-on-why-annihilatio...
There are four arguments laid against annihilationism quoted from the page:
"What Does ‘Everlasting’ Mean?"
Supposedly, there are not arguments for annihilationism from a a textual standpoint.
"The Instrinsic Eternality of the Soul"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universalism#Mistranslations
You may look at this , i have not be able to put forward a compelling argument against this part.
"Divine Justice"
This one is very high on irony since it wraps up on his head the argument that annihilationists lay at first: that eternal torment is cruel and unneeded.
"Can Hell Deflate Heaven?"
I don't know what i can say about this part...

Why? I am not an theist apologist. This post is just to demonstrate yet another bullshit from real apologist.
It starts with a fantastical nonsensical premise (annihilationism) and ends with en even more fantastical, nonsensical premise: eternal life in paradise. All predicated on the premise that a particular god of a particular sect of christianity actually exists.
Horse poo.
Yes I agree.
Doth one detect bovine excrement...
At least, bovine excrement is useful as a fertilizer.
