Would this apply equally to

Would this apply equally to theology? i.e. Religious education, Intelligent design, Creationism, Anti-evolution and so fourth?

After all, They too could be contained under the umbrella of 'special interest groups'.

And certainly do not have science supporting their narrative?

In the UK we already have sex education classes, I don't think it is too difficult or intervening to simply have a teacher occasionally do 10-15mins on why it is wrong to grope any person without consent, to stalk someone of any sex, to be sexually aggressive or forward in your approach, especially if it is unwanted or uncalled for?!

Well said. it's sickening how

@Dogma
Parent's need to stop outsourcing parenting to teachers andet teachers focus on the plummeting literacy and numeracy levels.

Well said. it's sickening how irresponsible some people are on that regard, really.

Then again, I don't see a problem with teaching children some common courtesy, when approaching the other gender. To find acceptable middle ground to stand on in a relationship. If their parents don't, then we, as a society, better clean up. Otherwise we will be left with the unnecessary baggage that is irresponsible, insensitive and plain mean people.

Maybe it's the other way around? Shouldn't this rather be where we, the normies, draw the line and say 'Fuck you' to senseless minorities? If they want governments support in their agenda, surely we can do better with the same tool. At least I dare to hope, that given sufficient time, we could come up with an educational system that doesn't divide people into predators and victims. All the while addressing the undeniably existing matters.

School's already have both

School's already have both written and unwritten rules and in fact laws on interactions that are enforced.

Schools are schools they are not the antidote to every adult societal problem we make.

I do not like the idea that teachers explicitly try teach moral values, it begs the question who's values exactly. Those of the old testament, the Quran, the LGBT movement, extreme left/right groups??

I understand such concern,

I understand such concern, but exactly THAT is already happening all over.

Indoctrinating education is where all the problems start, so striving to fix what's broken does seem worthwhile to pursue. As for the unwritten laws - nobody ever seems to care about explaining why such even exist. Which becomes just one part of why Critical Thinking doesn't get implemented.

I'm not saying to just BAM and instantly change the laws governing schools. Hardly anyone is that stupid. But I think it's clear our current system is far from perfect, and could really use some polishing.

Unfortunately, not everyone gets the benefit of reasonable teachers, that are willing to explain deeper questions without their own prejudice. If I could, I would clone my previous homeroom teacher and just put her all over the world to do just that.
