It's been some time, it's already been my 3 or 4 post, regarding Islam and Refugee Influx, it's completely turning me into Neo-Nazi. Maybe I should try to "neutralize" my mindset temporarily until I've flushed out my impatience and blindness. I've been trying to read the Koran and I've found so many verses online advocating how the Koran is repeatedly calling for the death of gays, atheists (apostates included) and other believers.
I've always asked other Muslims about these and they all come up with something completely irrational or just straight-up evade my question and use my impatience as a way to make themselves look like the rational guy there. It angers me how a such a coward can veil himself in such a beautiful fallacy and smirk on my face.
And now to this point I've started offending my own fellow, like-minded, People due to... well, complete narrow-mindedness and reluctancy to give up my opinions in thought of actually being right and they being wrong. Having too much to think about, and just involuntarily picking the one route as a way to just stop worrying about those others seems to be a repeating scenario. Being called a "racist" and shut off from a debate, and rendering my entire opinion worthless, it is destructive.
I've been typing so fast, it's as if my impulse is directing me to search for any proof to disprove the other, it feels as if you're being trolled, to just waste your time.
I'll try to excuse myself from just one side of the internet, and maybe, just maybe find a middle ground. Perhaps it is true, I am behaving like a theist, being stuck on one Idea the whole time and rather not taking a single moment to thoroughly delve to the other's opinion and just straight up find the antonym of everything he/she says.
Maybe I'll try to reconcile, maybe I'll try to breath deeper after every sentence...

Do you think those two things might be related?
No actually, I'm not talking about the Neo-Nazi Racial structure of Aryans and whatever else, more like the Fascist, Anti-Democratical and Blindly-Worshiping part of Nazism.
Islam is like all religions. You can take it literally, but then you have a problem. The Koran contradicts itself.
I have a muslim friend that is of the Ismaili sect. They do not practice sharia law. Remember that "sharia" really means law by shaws dictated for a political means. It gives authority to the shaws and therefore can and is perverted for their own means. The Ismaili are modern and progressive. Yes, the are devout and religious but not to the extent that they are unreasonable or radical. The Kurds are the same way.
The Ismaili sect? Never heard of it before.
To me some of you arguments have a nugget of truth, it just, very easy for that to come off as: racist and or phobic. With the same facts you have, (and I would like to think lots more facts that are out there and available,) I come to very different conclusions.
Yes there absolutely is some scary Muslim extremist that do cause real harm. Just like Christianity does, there is plenty of passages in various christian literature that is much the same way, very very intolerant of anyone different from them yet I do not want to ban Christians from visiting or moving to this country. I just feel that a lot of stereotyping goes on when it comes to peoples religions, stereotyping all of Muslims based on the actions of a few, or even just 300 million of them, is an awful thing to do. Just like I hope when I travel people do not stereotype me as a crazy trump supporter just because my passport says US on it.
Sure terrorism is a problem, sure some of these radicals are scary people that need to be stopped, I would not want extreme radicalized terrorist living in my town either. But the facts are, terrorism is barely a problem in this country, and it is extremely unlikely that a terrorist lives in my neighborhood. I think we can lean on acceptance and inviting, instead of exclusion and fear when it comes to our neighbors that are different from us. Just like I hope my neighbors are accepting that I am atheist if they were to find out.
Endri,
You are the first person I've ever seen on an internet forum who has ever said that he's willing to reconsider his beliefs.
Endri, Idk what you're really going through cause I'm not there, but it sounds like you already know that you can set yourself on a better path. I think you're awesome to question yourself. Keep it up. I now live around a ton of muslims too. The population here in in NY was not so prevalent back when I was in my teens. They do learn to adapt to the country they live in. They will adapt to that countrie's values & culture as long as they are not given up on and left without any positive interactions. This does not happen in a short period of time. Remember your muslims are shellshocked refugees. It won't be overnight for em. When they settle in.. perhaps they will eventually affect you, they way they affect me... Cooking delicious and affordable Halal food in food carts that can be found all over.
I agree with your statement, but I'd suggest not trusting Halal food, the only "reassuring" thing they have to say about it, is that it's prepared by "holy" guys. There's a post about it in the forum, look it up.
