The "spiritual response" of the Knights of Columbus to the crisis of priests believing they are God and can rape whom ever they want with impunity is to PARADE THE RELIC OF THE PSYCHO WHO TOLD PRIESTS THEY ARE GOD THROUGH OUT THE COUNTRY!
I just read my son's Columbia Magazine and cannot believe it! THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS HAVE GONE TOTALLY INSANE!
Their concept of healing the anger over priests' raping children is a pilgrimage of the "uncorruptible heart" of Jean Vianney through the US.
Jean Vianney is the one who came up with the concept that a priest is next to God!
Most of the pedophile priest treatment centers were named Jean Vianney after them. Real chance for repentance when the name of the facility tells you that you can do no wrong!
If the Knights cared about protecting their families THEY SHOULD BURN THE EVIL THING!

What else should you expect from theists? History is full of many examples of this church doing bat-shit crazy evil stuff.
Mrs. Paul Owczarek,
"Real chance for repentance when the name of the facility tells you that you can do no wrong!"
The idea that rabbis won't go to hell because their good deeds outweigh their sins is found in the Babylonian Talmud.
The idea is also expressed in Galatians 2:15 (CEV) = 15 We are Jews by birth and are not sinners like Gentiles.
The idea that some people are special for some reason and are exempt from the rules has been around for thousands of years. So why wouldn't Catholic priests adopt it as their own? If people are upset about it they should stop being Catholics.
@Mrs. Paul Owczarek:
I love this quote on their site.
“This has been a rough year (for the church), and maybe this (veneration of St. John Vianney’s heart) will start the healing.”
The church has had a rough year, and countless victims of their predatory priests have had rough (and often short) lives. How can the healing start when they're still doing the crimes?
But the mention of priests and preserved hearts brought to mind the story of Willam Buckland, Dean of Westminster in the mid-19th century, who reputedly ate the embalmed heart of King Louis XIV. Let's hope somebody gobbles up Vianney's pump.
