So when prayer doesn't fix this issue, then what? If these people roaming and praying get hurt, then what?
I love how one comment says prayer is powerful when done by those who believe. I have many issues with that.

It's like their idiotic idea of praying the gay away
Matt Bevin should have had a bowl of water on the podium. He's obviously washing his hands of his state's social problems.
He should be walking around those deadly streets all alone (after a prayer to Our Lady of Kevlar for protection against bullets, etc.).
After several of them are threatened and robbed perhaps they will consider becoming atheists. Could be that defining moment in their life.
Cause nothing fails as spectacularly as prayer

I love it with xtians bring up prayer. It is the one concrete real thing they do in religion. It can be tested, measured etc.
And when scientist go to measure it? They find absolutely zero evidence of miracles and gods. Nothing above random "do nothing" odds. And of course any prayer for "impossible" miracles 100% go unanswered. (Pray for cancer recovery, and recovery rates are exactly on par with random chance to recover from cancer. Pray for a limb to grow back and it has the exact expected 0 percent regrow/replace rate.
My wife went to a Christian university. Their begging letters come regularly asking for donations. I send them back in their envelope (no stamp) with no check, but I write a note that says "I will pray for you."
Love it, nothing like reminding them of the power of prayer.

Haha! That is awesome. I almost wish I would get letters like that in the mail just so I could do that.
I will have to remember that for all the pan handlers around here that have "god bless" written on their signs (I would say about 90% of them.)
