Does the name of Jacinto Convit sounds familiar to you?If not it won't be a surprise!
Jacinto Convit was a medic and scientist from Venezuela,more exactly from Caracas,who was mostly known for inventing the cure for leprocy.As a dedicated man to his work,for witch he found fascination ever sincer childhood,Convit spent years and years of research untill he managed to create the vaccine that saved millions of human lifes.
Besides the fact that he erradicated leprocy from the 21st century,he never charged a patient for the treatment and also Convit spent his 100th birthday still in the laboratory looking for the cure to cancer.
Jacinto died before finishing it,but his studies made huge improvements on how cancer is approached. Jacinto Convit was borne in 1913 and died in 2014.
For me he is a real hero and I'm always annoyd when I realizeze that more people know about mother Tereza(who just clustered a lot of dying people in one place,making their situation worse,just so they have a place to prey before death)instead of the man that actually did something useful for the humanity!
