I am familiar with this site.

I am familiar with this site. Here are some quotes from the page and my response:
--------------------------------------
CARM - "First of all, being all-powerful does not mean that God can do anything."

Actually that is exactly what it means!
om·nip·o·tent
ˌämˈnipəd(ə)nt/
adjective
adjective: omnipotent
1. (of a deity) having unlimited power; a̲b̲l̲e̲ ̲t̲o̲ ̲d̲o̲ ̲a̲n̲y̲t̲h̲i̲n̲g̲.
--------------------------------------
CARM - "God took six days to create in order to demonstrate order"

The Earth/humans were not created in 6 days.
--------------------------------------
CARM - "First of all, the scientific method is not the universal standard of truth."

Right, but it is a hell of a lot better than anything else we have.
--------------------------------------
CARM - "Second, God is light..."

I thought god was supposed to be love...
--------------------------------------
CARM - "plants can photosynthesize with any light"

Science fail. Try using xrays or radio waves to grow plants, and see how that works out for you.
--------------------------------------
CARM - "God took six days to create because God does not create evil"

Uhhh wait, so if god had taken 5 days or 7 days it would have created evil? Furthermore, the Christian bible clearly states the God is the creator of evil (I realize Abdul that the Quran may or may not state that, but the bible certainly does and this is a Christian website, so I've included this to demonstrate how dishonest they are).
--------------------------------------

Anyway that is just off the top of my head. Oh and the 'round square' thing should probably be phrased: God can not make a circle that is also a square. Of course the theists always tell us God can do anything, but when pressed they change their song.

I hope this helps you a little.

@ Abdul Rauf Bin Jamal

@ Abdul Rauf Bin Jamal

Hmm, I've been away 24 hours. Now 15 of 20 threads on the first page have been created by Abdul Rauf Bin Jamal. :)

It's great that you want to ask questions, but perhaps you should slow down a little. Perhaps ask new questions in the same thread?

I don't need to read that in

I don't need to read that in order to know why it took him 6 days, nor does anybody. He can do everything, but took him 6 days. He's fake. Period :D

This is about the creation

This is about the creation from the Bible's (largely the same as the Quran?) but anyway, it's a funny look at it:

What a great religion. They

What a great religion. They can't even decide who's in charge, and the argument is still going on 1400 years later. Assholes.

Well no one really knows for

Well no one really knows for sure. Heck he's GOD for Christ's sake. He can do as he wishes, if he wants to create the universe in 6 day, so what? How does this statement deny God in any what?????

it doesn't, but it does show

it doesn't, but it does show that god is wasteful and loves to waste time.

(with regards to Christianity he is consistently wasteful)
especially with regards to sending his son to stop the torture he himself inflicted on the innocent for 100 000+ years.

I guess for the christian god, human suffering and eternal torture seem to be to his liking

For the Muslim god, there is no hope, a horrible character that stood there, approved and watched while Muhammad defiled an under age girl.
The character should be abolished from all the books.

How does the statement that

How does the statement that God created the world in 6 days affirm the reality of God in any way?

Abdul,

Abdul,

Your version of creation says it took 6 days. Others may say more, still others may say less. What difference does it make? Does it make your version true? What makes the others false?

Whether we talk about Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, or any number of the other religions, they all have some explanation of how the Earth and the rest of the universe came to be. They each have some sort of dogma or holy book. Which one should everyone believe? They each claim to hold the truth to righteousness.

If this one religion (take your pick) is the truth, why do so many people believe in the others? Do they really deserve eternal damnation for being born in a region of the world that indoctrinated them to one particular brand of faith? These kinds of questions started me on the road to atheism, and I strongly encourage you to question everything about these religions. Once you do, you will most likely begin to see the circular logic and absence of rational thought prevalent in each religion.

On a side note, it seems to me as though you are beginning to have doubts, since you've put so many questions up in these threads.
