What predictions?

What predictions?

I have yet to see anything predicted in your precious Bible ever come true. NOT ONE.

It'll be some vague fairly

It'll be some vague fairly predictable claim that the writers later decided was fulfilled prophesy and wrote it down as such.

If someone finds this kind of nonsense compelling then they have set the bar low enough for belief so that facts, evidence and rationality just bead up and roll off them.

That is awesome news. I had been hoping for Thor, but I think Deadpool as God is more than awesome. Sarcasm will now rule the cosmos which is great news for an ahole like me.

Deadpool is god???....

Deadpool is god???.... Outstanding! That is even better than Loki! (Sorry, Loki.) Wonder if he is taking applications for a team of Deadpool archangels?.....*briskly rubbing hands together*..... Looks like I'm gonna have to sharpen my sarcasm skills a bit. Good thing I am a member on this site.

Okay! I'm all ready for my interview to become a member of the Deadpool Archangel Team! How do I look? Oh, um, I was wondering, is there anybody here who would mind my using them as a personal reference on my application?

GEE - a prediction came true.

GEE - a prediction came true. Cite your reference and cite the prediction that came from it.

I predict two great powers will go to war in the future. Anything vague enough can be touted as a prediction. How many times have the Christians predicted the end of the earth. Jesus did it first when he stated, "Not a generation shall pass before all these things I have said shall come to pass." OOPS! 2000 years later and we are still waiting.

Cite your source and cite the accompanying prediction that came true. Choose your best one.

There are "prophecies" in the bible that can never become true. That is quite damning.

The implication of the OP is that if someone like Donald Trump says one thing that later comes true, we should regard everything they say as true.

These claims of biblical

These claims of biblical prophecy always remind me of the famous Yorkshire prophetess known as Mother Shipton. She supposedly predicted cars, radio, planes, and submarines in the 16th century. (http://www.crystalinks.com/mother_shipton.html)

Her predictions were "discovered" at various times after her death, with most popping up in the 1920s. Does that remind you of other famous predictions that were "proved" true in writings composed hundreds years after the predicted events?

The cave where she lived is Britain's oldest paid tourist attraction. There's a "petrifying well" where various objects are left until they're covered in limestone. From memory, the display includes Margaret Thatcher's handbag, Marilyn Monroe's bra, and Dirty Harry's magnum. All are as genuine as relics of the holy cross from Jerusalem.

predictions... like one of those fakes that generalize everything... like "there will be a new war next year"

Well..... requesting facts

Well..... requesting facts certainly destroyed this conversation.

Could we have a list of these

Could we have a list of these "prophesies" and can you demonstrate objective evidence they were predicted and fulfilled.

Then all we will need is for someone to demonstrate objective evidence for supernatural causation, as opposed to mere coincidence.
