I am a new member to this site. I do intend to take part in the discussions here. But first there is something I would like to know.
I had this site suggested to me, some weeks to ago, by a friend of mine. It feels odd to be calling someone in their teens a friend, but I find myself in such a position none the less.
Does there happen to be one among you with either the name "Sir Random" or "The Random One"? Those seem to be the names he uses most often.
I hope my asking this does not break any of the site rules. I'm simply trying to see if the person whom invited me here is really here or not.

From the sterness of your reply, I am willing to guess you are man with some form of military background. Seeing as how your profile picture is one of America's historical figures, I highly doubt we are of similar nationality. But, if you are indeed of military, at least we share some common ground. Though, now that I look at the Russian Air Force in a somewhat....distasteful light, I would prefer not to speak of such things.
The infamous double post.
Xavier! It's good to see you out of that old apartment of yours. I honestly didn't think you would take my suggestion.
Yup, that's The Random One. He has changed name since he joined, but you can see his original name in his profile, in the header that starts with "FORUM REPLIES BY".
So, who is Xavier, Sir Random? Not trying to bug in, your friendship just sparked some curiosity for me.
Just a family friend is all.
It's good to see you as well, my friend. Of course I would take your suggestion. I just needed a bit of time to get settled in after the move. International moves tend to take a lot out of a person's resources, both financially and energy wise.
Yes, I suppose that would be so. So, was my prediction about being a Russian Atheist and living in America's southern region not being the best setup correct?
Spot on more like it. Brutally so, if I may add.
Ouch! Both from the "evil old Russia" and "a God hating Satanist", double bonus points!
You should see how people react when I tell them I used to be a Russian Air Force pilot.
Haha, I can imagine.
welcome Xavier
