Here it's 13.45 Saturday May 23.
I've just bunged a batch of chilli con carne into the slow cooker after soaking the beans over night. Be ready around 5. Some will go into the fridge for dinner tomorrow night,with a guest. The rest will be put into small containers and frozen. Not sure if I've used enough chilli powder.---

It must be that "great minds" syndrome. I cooked a wonderful goat stew this morning. With red wine, garlic, carrot, leek and onion, with a garnishee of fresh rosemary, dill, bay leaf (from my tree) and purple garlic tops. Will allow to cool after 3 hours on the stove top (the smell is making me salivate).
I will add potato tomorrow and cook for another hour. It was originally for myself and She Who Must Be Obeyed Sunday and Monday but youngest son has announced his arrival for lunch tomorrow...so it seems that SWMBO and I will have a small portion each while the rest will be inhaled with in seconds of serving by said stomach on legs.
Ah well! I will make pumpkin soup Tomorrow for our lunches on Monday!

Au contraire, my Little Chimpster. Geckos being able to regrow their tails are hardcore proof of God's wonderful miracles. Anybody can plainly see that. Don't be such a hater.
Oh, and my understanding is that Cog actually plucks off their tails with a pair of pliers. Scaring off the tails cause the geckos to poop at the same time, and it ruins the flavor.

I really took notice when I discovered that one possible side effect from that drug is sudden death from a heart irregularity.

Seems there was this pastor who was claiming to cure covid19 by a laying on of hands. 'Was' is the correct tense, because he died, of covid19.
Seems his followers are having a bun fight with the authorities. They want to keep him above ground for his resurrection. One of his parishioners wondered if the cures will work , what with him being dead and all.
"(CNN)Bishop Gerald Glenn, the pastor of New Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Virginia, has died, the church announced on Sunday. Glenn had tested positive for coronavirus, according to a video posted by his daughter Mar-Gerie Crawley.
Despite warnings from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to avoid mass gatherings and maintain social distancing, Glenn said in a sermon on March 22, "I firmly believe that God is larger than this dreaded virus," and announced he was not afraid to die."
I guess one can be brave and stoopid at the same time. I think the word is 'foolhardy'
