Existence is the most basic thing in reality, everything is based on existence, so how do atheists define existence at all?

How do atheists understand existence?
Well, this might seem unbelievable to anyone who must have an answer to existence yesterday, but I don't bother with the thought.
I think that's the underpinnings of being an atheist. I can't be bothered with man's pretense that he has a logical or illogical explanation when evidence of neither is in hand. So, by default, I'm atheist.
"Existence is the most basic thing in reality, everything is based on existence"
I'm guessing that you think the hinky trinity of sky-daddy, sonny-boy and the spook are the whole basis of existence and reality, so why are you pussy-footing around the real meaning of your question? Yes. I can exist and experience existence fully without god.
I define existence empirically by seeing, hearing, touching, tasting and smelling it. I define existence logically by thinking (cogito ergo sum). You'll see everything much more clearly if you take off your god-tinted glasses and look around at the real world.
How do atheists define existence??? I would probably use a dictionary. I think there is one in the bookcase somewhere. Why would you think atheists in particular have or need a definition of existence. What a weird question.

I suspect that the question wasn't actually intended about "existence", but instead about how atheists perceive reality: How a non-believer would define reality.
Even if that is the case, it's hard to know what to answer...
Atheists/non-believers are individuals and have individual answers.
