How the church is making fun of you

**Some editing to the structure of the post for exprimation discrepances**

The secret to a succesful religion is to indoctrinate your people as deep as possible.
Take a good look at the atachement as it showcases some of the way the romanian church simply makes a laugh out of this people who are listening without putting question:
The upper image shows a tradition of the priest throwing a cross in a cold freezing wather as shirtless man jump after it to find it.
The lower one shows the people turned into simple minded sheeps that crawl trough rocks and dirt around a monastary called Nicula.
The reason of this post is to make clear how religions transform some people in complete idiots that dont mind it as long as it is for their God.

And yes...we are in the 21st century!
Please give more examples in the commentary section.

**Just realized it feels like I wrote for some nature documentary but with christians**

"The Grass Pastor" is a good

"The Grass Pastor" is a good example:

"Pastor Daniel tells congregation to eat GRASS 'to be closer to God'"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajLzAuyHHp0

Of course the congregation got sick and puked like hell, but that didn't stop him from continuing.
I also read that he had people eat snakes, but also that they eventually beat the shit out of him and burned the church down, but I'm not sure about how true that is.

I do not agree that you can

I do not agree that you can speak and criticize all religious people. Its like anything else all institutions have bad and good alike, There are conservative Christians and liberal Christians just like there are republicans and moderates, Everybody is there own person there are cults and there are mega churches, big and small it is a big variety to choose from, even during the apostle Pauls days there were so many different philosophies going around. The reformation started a lot of critique before you knew it with the catholic church splitting in 1054 and then the reformation in the 1600`s martin liuther john calvin to name a few bought new teachings and then with the invention of the printing press and john Wycliffe and Tyndale putting the bible in English language this opened up all kinds of dialogue that led to violence.then the enlightment of the 17th and 18th centuries and the introduction of science.to where we are today, a major split between peoples and groups world wide.

To have violence in

To have violence in perpetuation you have to have stupidity as a foundation. Intelligent men do not ask for it. They speak against it and bring to the table of discussion resolutions that avoid any violence. People who know god also know ignorance in their lives. It's this ignorance that can be sorted out and harnessed by men with bad intent. It's this ignorance that can be lead to embody the violence man has always known. Religious ignorance is not the only cause of man's perpetual violence but it is the chief spiller of blood. All religions are methods men use to display ignorance and thereby serves as a warning to all mankind that violence is always a threat from, by and for ignorant people.

I'm adressing to the issue of

I'm adressing to the issue of how this churches have the capability to enslave this people,I'm not reffering to all religious people.Back in the days I was a christian I know I wouldn't have done that.I am pointing to those that are going to act like trained dogs when their owner commands even when the scripture they base their beliefs on is not specifing such behavior as being needed.

A romanian ruler(Dimitrie

A romanian ruler(Dimitrie Cantemir) once wrote(aprox 300 yrs ago)that people in his parts were building churches and carving crosses but the same men never even read a page from the bible and that they were not basing their belief in God because they saw his miracles but simply because they were taught that way since childhood.

The Catholic Church mocks its

The Catholic Church mocks its flock during the Communion Service. Taking into account what we know , the image of a young boy kneeling in front of a priest and receiving a wafer that dissolves into a sticky white glob is an image we could do without.

I have a good friend who is

I have a good friend who is Catholic and very active in his church. He accepts me as an atheist and I respect his religiosity. He became a deacon and invited me to his ordination. Since he is a friend I attended. The bishop of our area came in and sat on a throne. There was some kind of procession of men in capes with swords and plumed helmets. But that wasn't the worst. All the candidates for ordination came in wearing dresses and laid on the floor across the room from the bishop. Then, keeping their bellies to the floor and with heads down, they crawled across the floor and then kissed the bishop's hand. I was offended by such inhuman abasement and abuse. It just reaffirmed my disgust with religion.
