GOING TO HEAVEN

To the extenct of where most religious practices go there is an ultimate punishment or reward at the time of the soul making the departure from the body(dying,in more blintly words)based upon the actions and decisions made by a certain individual across his entire life.
Now,great lesson!Right?Be good and you'll go to Heaven where's eternal love, peace and happiness, be bad and you'll go to Hell where is eternal pain, suffer and misery.Heaven&Hell also make for a great way of parent control.
The reason for this post is to make clear the basic flawed fundamentals of the Heaven to point out it's unlikelyhood to be of superior creation and more likely basic moral conductory that is a constant element în every religion(more or less).
We know that going to Heaven means(according to the christian biblie)a place where we'll be praying to God for the rest of our eternity:first, what is the point of praying in Heaven if we do this on earth to be accepted in Heaven and second, why is that supposd to be betther than spending time with the ones you love, and sharing intimate time with them,so to what definition Heaven is betther than our curent life, even if we ad to the ecuation all the downsides of life.If we are to ask a man living at a monastary in some mountains of why he chosed that life he will respond by saying it was for God,repeat, not for them, not because they like such a life,or that anyone would preffer to live like that,so in this case why doing this for eternity is supposed to make us happier?
"But you are going to be with the ones you love forever"the religious man will say,but....are we?Let's say for exemple that you love both of your parents but they are not faithful enough to make it to Heaven. One day a man brakes in your home, kills them and steals of all your stuff, many years later both you and the killer die of natural causes. At the gates of Heaven you are going to be accepted for being a good person and also the killer because he accepted Jesus on his death bed.So now you will have to live with the man who killed your parents and knowing that your parents are suffering in Hell. How is that supposed to make you happy?Or we are happy in Heaven no matter what, than, doesn't that mean God makes us that way so he takes away our free will wich is against his own principles?Isn't the existence of Heaven in that case a contradiction by itself to God?

Good points!

Good points!
I liked the idea what if the one you love have different faith? or non at all?
Woo hoo..!
or Whoops! Some of us going to heaven by accident i guess

To add another twist:
If envy a mortal sin and your god is jealous god [Exodus 34:14]
Wouldnt he have to send himself to hell?

Now trick question..
Would you like to spend eternity with preachers plus ISIS bomber [ in case we share same heaven, lol]
Or with serial killer, rock bands, scientists plus god...
...
..

Or just the muslim Heaven is

Or just the muslim Heaven is real and we'll be welcomed by 40 virgins(like Allah is not sexist enough)and also this(good points Kafir):what if Im an extremist and I kill myself alongside many others because I know this would please my God but it turns out is another god that's real- shouldn't that God forgive me and send me to Heaven because all I did was for him(so by definition I was a good, faithful person) but I was taught the wrong dogma and this god's dogma doesn't accept killing

Great questions! Good luck

Great questions! Good luck getting a theist to answer them though.

Christian heaven sounds to me like an invention of Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge. Everyone is collectivized into a huddled mass praising the great leader all day, and anyone with enough brains or courage to question the system goes straight down to the torture chamber, together with anyone from the wrong sect/tribe/ethnic group, etc. Family life, intellectual life, individual life are all negated in favor of interminable worship and indoctrination.

I think I'd probably get tired of that after a few million years, or maybe after a couple of minutes.

Theists be like:"God creates

Theists be like:"God created Heaven for our eternal happiness,if you don't want to be a part of it,it's not His fault"; Yup,I'm already ahead of it! :)

I don`t accept any books or

I don`t accept any books or doctrines, I freed myself of that bondage. I am a full fledged agnostic I just can`t tell one way or the other if there is a heaven or hell, Frankly I`m not overly concerned. I try to live every day according to what I feel is best for me. I`m not trying please anyone anymore.

So the Jew says to St Peter,

So the Jew says to St Peter, while getting a tour of heaven, as they happen upon a towering wall: "Hey, Pete, what's with a wall in heaven?". St Peter winces and holds a finger to his lips signifying to the Jew to be quiet as he whispers to him: "Quiet. The Catholics are on the other side and think they're the only ones here."

This joke works with all faiths.
