Yes they are and I was also. One of my high school book reports was on This present Darkness by Frank Peretti. Super spooky and encourages you look at the world like a crazy person. :0 Lots of the mind blowing tales of angels were told. They were all so intense and exciting. Heres one I won't forget:
This college girl was walking alone late at night from the library to her dorm and she happens upon a man that looks at her aggressively then walks away. A few days later news comes out that this man was a rapist of many girls on that campus. She visits him in jail and says why did you not hurt me that night. Heres the Good stuff.... There was no way I was going to take you with those two 8 foot men by your side, he said. Her guarding angels protected her. Or maybe she was embarrassed he wasn't attracted to her so she made up this miracle.
I used to listen to GCarlin all the time. Such a relief to hear his brand of comedy whenever I did.
