Galapagos finches caught in act of becoming new species

A population of finches on the Galapagos has been discovered in the process of becoming a new species.
This is the first example of speciation that scientists have been able to observe directly in the field.

Darwin saw a number of

Darwin saw a number of different species that were similar to the species in the mainland, and that prompted him to hypothesize that the different island species all came from a mainland ancestor. He was not able to actually witness the speciation process like the biologists in the article.

oh the creationists are going

oh the creationists are going to blow a gasket, they have to acknowledge what they call micro evolution yet deny macro evolution despite there only being evolution.
