Muslims are trying to stop pork attacks on their mosques by starting a rumor that they hate donuts. They're hoping that Islamophobes will leave donuts on their doorsteps instead of pigs' heads and entrails and bacon sandwiches.

Meanwhile the Vatican is fretting about gluten-free communion wafers. As if it really mattered. I just don't know how anyone could eat food that a priest had touched.

Don't think the donuts trick will work, they might leave bacon donuts instead.
@Xenoview: "they might leave bacon donuts instead."
There are bacon donuts? How deliciously sinful.
lol
For the ~1% of the population that is actually quite gluten intolerant, it matters.
Would look bad for their silly religion if the "holy" in wafer form sent a small few of their congregation to the hospital every time they partook :)
.....oh maybe it is just a cracker and not some holy wafer thing.

I realize that it's very important for glucose-intolerant people. I just wondered why the church was making such a big deal of it. Is a gluten-free cracker any more likely to transform magically into a piece of Jesus than a gluten-rich one? They might as well give out potato chips and coca cola.
mmm potato chips and soda, talk about an addictive food to get people to come back for more, I am surprised churches don't use this! Brilliant!
